  • Interview Savvy focuses on helping the long-term unemployed...

Interview Savvy has joined forces with Shaker Recruitment Advertising & Communications in an effort to assist the 3.2 million Americans currently battling the plight of being long-term unemployed. A series of “Long-Term Unemployed Virtual Career Expos” are being planned, with Illinois being the pilot state. The chief objective of these events is to give qualified long-term unemployed job seekers a level playing field and the opportunity to have hiring companies take a deliberate look at their credentials. The Expos will take place in a secure, stable, and easy-to-navigate virtual environment, where job seekers can interact directly with recruiters of participating companies. Interview Savvy will provide candidates with tools and career advice to master the virtual event and job-search process. Shaker will create an intuitive and mobile-friendly virtual environment where employers and candidates can share information and communicate live. The event microsite is located at: www.long-termunemployed.com
